Polygonum Cuspidatum is a perennial herb belonging to the Polygonaceae. The main active component Polydatin enables it to exhibit antioxidative, anti-inflammatory and whitening effects.

Features and benefits:
Anti-oxidation: Polydatin inhibits the oxidative damage of UVB to HaCaT cells in vitro; it also increases the content of SOD and GSH-Px, and decreases the production of MDA which helps lower the content of ROS.
Anti-inflammation: Polydatin inhibits the expression of apoptosis and inflammation genes.
Whitening: Polydatin extract inhibits cell proliferation and the activity of Tyrosinase, thus reducing the content of Melanin in cells.
Applications:
Recommended for anti-inflammatory products, repairing products, whitening products, anti-ageing products, etc.
Suitable for lotion, gel, essence, cream, etc.
